Cookies and external services
Until you agree, no analytics script and no external map is loaded. That is not a form of words: the scripts are not in the page at all.
The principle
Many sites load their measurement tools the moment you arrive and merely block the cookies. The script still runs and still sends data, including your IP address. That is not what happens here: neither Google Analytics nor the accommodation maps are inserted into the page until you accept. Decline, and they are never loaded.
The consequence is deliberate: we count fewer visits than actually happen. That is the price of a page that does what it says.
What works without your consent
The site itself: pages, images, fonts, and remembering your cookie choice. That last one is stored locally in your browser under the key bl-consent and is not sent anywhere.

Measured, not assumed. In a real browser the Stay22 map also loads Hotjar (usage measurement), Sentry (error tracking) and Font Awesome (icons). All three come with the map itself. That is a further reason it stays behind your consent. Without consent the measurement finds no external hosts, no cookies and no local storage keys.
Changing your mind
The Cookie settings button at the foot of every page reopens the banner and lets you switch either way. A choice you cannot revisit is not a choice.
You can also delete cookies already set from your browser settings. If you clear local storage, your preference disappears and the banner returns on your next visit.
Verification before launch
The names and durations above come from measurements of these same services. A measurement specific to this site, in a real browser, is carried out before launch, and this page is corrected if any name or duration differs.
